The life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination.’
This quote taken from the famous Martin Luther King speech ‘I have a dream.’ Sadly in my opinion still relates to our black communities today.
Black communities are not only to blame though. The media plays a BIG part in the way that we look at the society. Through the media we can form ideologies and start to build up representations of people.
